Echelon Health Launches New Female-Specific Menopause Assessment

With less than 2.5% of publicly funded research currently devoted to female health, women are likely to be mis-diagnosed or not have access to suitable tests, treatments, and medicines rapidly enough. To lessen the chances of early death in women and improve the quality of life of those affected by menopause-related diseases, Echelon Health created The Cullinan Assessment. Designed by Dr Paul Jenkins - one of the UK’s leading endocrinologists and foremost expert on the correlation between hormones and cancers. This assessment has no competition as far as accuracy and team's expertise go. Thanks to the world's most advanced screening machines all guesswork is removed from the process, and each woman is examined in her individuality with a bespoke approach.

The assessment focuses on the hormonal changes that increase the risk of common deadly diseases, including: lung, breast and ovarian cancers, osteoporosis and coronary heart disease. Despite often being considered a ‘man’s disease’, CHD was the single biggest killer of women worldwide in 2019, while cases of lung cancer have increased by 84% in women over the last 40 years, compared to a decrease of 32% in men.

As valuable and priceless as the diamond it is named after, the Cullinan Assessment starts with comprehensive blood tests that show the patient’s blood picture and hormone levels, including oestrogen, testosterone and other hormones related to menopause, as well as specific markers that can help determine the presence of breast and ovarian cancer.

The assessment continues with a digital mammogram, a transvaginal ultrasound of ovaries and uterus, a CT coronary angiogram (the gold standard for detecting early signs of coronary heart disease), CT chest, CT bone densitometry and a full body mole assessment. The health assessment takes around four hours and is followed by a consultation during which the results are analysed and and a bespoke lifestyle plan is presented that will help clients reach optimum health.

Like all assessments available at Echelon Health, the Cullinan Assessment is not based on statistical analysis but solely on the results obtained from the combination of advanced blood tests, CT, MRI and ultrasound scans. All guesswork is removed from the process; every woman is considered in her unicity and assessed accordingly, with the most accurate technology on the market.

Acclaimed for combining cutting-edge technology and a hand-selected team of consultants, radiographers and radiologists with state-of-the-art client experience, Echelon Health has added a touch of luxury to the Cullinan Assessment by including a complimentary overnight stay at The Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London. Positioned between the Royal Park and bustling Knightsbridge, those living within a 100-mile radius of London will be collected from their homes, chauffeured to the clinic and then to the hotel, where they can experience a CBD Oil Deep Relaxation Massage at the hotel’s serene spa. CBD is proven to provide relief for women who suffer from hormonal imbalances, while aiding pain management, soothing muscles, and reducing anxiety.
